Mackie's Place Youth Social House.

Mackie's Place Youth Social Hub is a free drop-in center and job skills/employment program for youth at risk. The youth they serve are highly vulnerable to trauma, homelessness, violence, abuse, addictions, and crime. They seek to help these youth realize their unseen potential by offering a safe and supportive community, connection to positive peers and mentors, access to homemade meals, opportunities for employment skills training and educational support, and guidance in developing healthy relationships. All of these offerings are research-based proactive ways to address risk factors for the youth and are designed to enable them to lead more independent, community-oriented and confident lives.

Mackie's Place is acknowledged by the City of Surrey and other not-for-profits as being a leader in having a transformational approach for at-risk youth.

All proceeds from the event will be donated to Mackie’s Place Youth Social House and matched by BC Greenhouse Builders!
