With a rich history dating back to 1951, BC Greenhouse Builders Ltd. has been a pioneer in the manufacturing of high-quality greenhouses. Originally made from cedar wood, these greenhouses were originally sold in the southwest of British Columbia. In 1972, Henry Heinen and his wife Greta took over the company and introduced their innovative designs, creating Cross Country Greenhouses. Throughout the years, our network has grown with the addition of multiple distributors and the introduction of online ordering in 1995. This was a transformational moment for this formerly small company.
Today, under the leadership of Rick Heinen, Kyle Exner and Cody Heinen, BC Greenhouse Builders Ltd. continues to be at the forefront of the industry, delivering exceptional aluminum greenhouses to new markets while expanding to commercial, custom and luxury estate greenhouses all over the world.
We know that it can be difficult to distinguish quality online, especially when it comes to greenhouses. Our products are designed as do-it-yourself kits and are proudly North American made. They require maintenance once a year and are designed so that even the average homeowner can customize and build their very own greenhouse. For a complete list of the benefits of our greenhouses, visit this page.
As a longtime family business, we believe that quality counts and that great customer service still means something. We love to talk to people about their plans for a greenhouse! Call us today at 1-888-391-4433.
In 2022, BC Greenhouse Builders proudly established the charitable foundation Beyond BC Greenhouses. The goal is to align the same values of community, purpose, and hard work with Beyond BCG and help various organizations throughout British Columbia.
